Life is busy... but so great!! Jackson is 8 months old and so darn cute! He is crawling all over the place, and pulling himself up to stand, he is actually getting much better at not falling down as much and catching himself when he does fall. He has two teeth on the bottom front. He can say dada and hi. He babbles a ton. Getting to be a happy boy. He is much more easily calmed and doesn't cry too much. He isn't nursing anymore, he decided he didn't want to anymore around 5 months old. So he drinks about 4-6oz every 3 hours or so. He is eating baby food now and loves it!! He also loves Cheetos and crackers and is obsessed with Macy's sippy cups. He LOVES Macy so much, but also loves to pull her hair and take her toys. He has quite a bit of stranger anxiety and also separation anxiety, poor guy. He is very attached to his momma right now, makes it hard to get anything done, but I'm loving every minute of it!! Jax still wakes up in the night to eat generally between 4-5am, and then sleeps till about 730. He is tiny... was in the one percentile for his weight, at six months he was around 13 lbs. I think he is around 15 lbs now.
Macy is 2.5yrs old now and so smart!! She talks so well and sings lots of nursery rhymes. She is learning how to spell her name and draw pictures. She knows most of the shapes and is working on colors. We are still working on potty training..... She is so sweet and loves her brother... most of the time. Her favorite things right now are her grandmas. She still loves mickey mouse and reading books. She loves to go down slides, and play in the splash pool. She is still afraid of a lot of things, especially noisy things, but is getting better. She eats well all by her self!!! They grow so quickly!
Bob is almost done with his masters degree!! Two more months!!!! YAY!! I am still considering going back to school for my neonatal nurse practitioner but want to wait until the kids are a little bit older. Working full time plus being on the life flight transport team is busy enough right now.
Bob and I just had our 6 year anniversary!!!!!!!!! We are loving life and just trying to enjoy it as much as possible. Camping, hiking, swimming, BBQ and now bike riding and jogging are our favorite things right now!! Also our evening walks that we do occasionally.

2 years old and 2 months old
We have a 2 year old and a 2 month old... oh boy is that busy. They are both doing so good though. Macy is starting to potty train and is doing so well! I'm sure she would already be potty trained if I had the time to focus just on that, and if I wasn't back to work, oh well, she is doing awesome. She had her 2 yr appt at the Dr
Weight 24lbs 4oz.
Length 33 inches
So she is maintaining her 18-20% and she is right on track developmentally. I was a little surprised that she wasn't advanced for her age because to me she seems soo smart. She can speak in full sentences pretty much, sometimes she still says stuff and we have no idea what it means, but most of the time I know exactly what she is saying. She can count to 10, and knows all her body parts, she love to sing twinkle twinkle and baa baa black sheep. She is still obsessed with watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, but her favorite thing is to look at the pictures on peoples phones. She also lines up things, it is so funny cause she makes rows of all her toys, and she like to put them in the window sill. Her favorite thing to eat right now is chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce and apple juice. She eats like 8 chicken nuggets at a time, crazy. She can feed herself, but still uses a sippy cup.
Jackson also had a Dr appt
Weight 10lbs 1oz
Length 21.5 inches
I think his weight was 10th percentile and length was only 3rd.
Dr said he is developmentally advanced for his age!! He is 2 months, but acts like a 4 month old. He can stand really well, and can lift his head and hold it up really good. He is cooing a ton, and smiling lots. He is trying to laugh but hasn't done it yet. The Dr. said he has colic so that would explain his night time craziness. It seems to be improving a little. He eats every 2-3 hours during the day and takes around 70ml each feeding when I'm at work, and breastfeeds awesome. At night he generally sleeps 6 hours, eats and then sleeps 2-4 more hours. He is still wearing newborn clothes but I think he will be in 0-3 month soon.

How is life??

Life is good, but crazy right now!! Macy is almost 2 years old, and she has some crazy "2 year old" moments. Bob made up a little song for her, and she loves to sing it.... "terrible 2's, terrible 2's, Macy is a terrible 2." they sing it together, pretty cute but seriously, she can be pretty bad. Most of the time she does it when I am feeding Jackson, cause she knows I can't jump up and put her on time out. Oh, time out is a treat :) haha, NOT... She does really well on time out normally, but lately WOW BAD, like yesterday I was feeding Jackson and she decided to grab the laptop, I told her to put it back or she was going on time out, she didn't, so I put Jackson down and got up, she ran with the laptop, but it was plugged in so it fell on the ground and she went running off to her bedroom, needless to say she went on time out but she wouldn't stay on time out. Every time she gets of the "naughty chair" (which is actually the bench in our living room) I put her back on and restart her 2 minute time out. This time out took over 30 min... crazy... she just would not stop getting down. Then when she did stay on the bench she was banging her head on the wall or spitting. WTH???? My little princess turns into this little MONSTER!!! She only has these really bad days about once a week, but the rest of the time if I threaten time out she stops doing the bad stuff.

Jackson is now 6 weeks old, I cannot believe how fast time has gone! He is such a big boy now! Finally fits into his newborn clothes!! I think he started wearing these when he was a month old. He is a great little nurser, we are trying to get him used to the bottle because I will be going back to work in about 3 weeks, he does well with it, but gets a little fussy afterwards and wants to nurse even though he just ate. He LOVES his sister Macy, whenever she talks to him he gets the biggest eyes and just stares at her, it is soo cute. He likes tummy time (most of the time) and can lift his head and turn it both directions. He has just started to smile and it is the cutest thing ever!! He mostly smiles at me, yay for me!! But he is a totally different baby than Macy was. Macy didn't really cry much and was pretty content to do whatever. Now Jackson is kind of a fussy baby, he is happy in the mornings and gets worse as the day progresses. He is not patient at all, and at night he like to nurse every hour for about 3 hours (starting about 7 till about 10pm, or whenever dinner is done...) and even when he is nursing he is fussy, just not content. The only thing that makes him calm is a bath, but that is only while he is actually in the water and then it is screaming again :( poor guy, not sure what this is all about but it is pretty consistent every night. Some nights it is just crying and others it is screaming.... I sure hope he grows out of this. But then he will sleep for about 6 hours, which is nice. I'm not sure how much he weighs right now but I'm thinking about 8lbs.Anyways, thats life right now! Busy, busy. Not sure if I will have anymore kids after this, but I am sure happy with the 2 I have, they are just a lot of work. If I do have one more kid, it will have to be when Jackson is like 4 and can be a little more independent or in school some of the time, cause being stuck inside cause of the snow makes for a stir-crazy Macy. I am excited to go back to work though, not sure how it is all going to work with work, kids, husband, pumping, and doing transport but I will figure something out. Glad I decided not to go to nurse practitioner school right now, I would really be losing my mind if I had...

HE'S HERE!!!!

Jackson Wendell Siddoway
Born: 10-20-10 at 7:32pm
Weight: 5lbs 2oz
Length: 19 inches
This is the belly the day before he was born. Here's how it all happened......
On Wednesday Oct 20th I had 2 Dr appointments, first with my OB- everything was fine, I was 3cm dilated. Later went to see the perinatologist for an ultrasound to check baby's growth and fluid. My fluid was low measured at 5, so the Dr said "its time to get this baby out". Bob and I walked down to labor and delivery for the induction, they were soooo busy and had no rooms open, so I was put in the recovery room for a short period while they started my IV and asked questions. Then I was moved to my delivery room, and the Dr came in and wanted to break my water. I was nervous cause I didn't have my epidural yet, he said it wouldn't hurt too bad. haha LIE... anyways that was around 2:30pm. around 6pm they checked me and I was 5-6cm, then at 7pm checked again and I fully dilated!! Dr went to change they got everything set up, Dr came back, I pushed once and Jackson was born. Much different experience than with Macy (I pushed for an hour), with Macy I went into labor on my own and with Jackson I was induced. Being induced was much nicer, I was able to get my epidural when I wanted and it was more controlled. Jackson was born the exact same gestation as Macy- 36.3 weeks. He was having some respiratory distress (grunting and nasal flaring) and because he was a little early had to go to the NICU for about 21 hours, then was able to come to my room and go home when I did. He lost some weight and got down to 4lbs 11oz. and had a hard time staying warm, so he is always swaddled with a hat on. He was up to 5lbs 4oz at a week and a half old, so starting to get big.

Macy was a little wild at first and not quite sure she liked Jackson, but now she loves him, she loves to hug and kiss him... A LOT!

34 weeks!!!!!
I saw the perinatologist today and got an ultrasound, my amniotic fluid was low it. The ultrasound tech said it was 5 (normal is above 10) the perinatologist thought it maybe was about 9, but thought maybe I was leaking amniotic fluid, and if so I would deliver.... SCARY!! So I got sent to labor and delivery to get a test done to see if I actually was leaking amniotic fluid, the test came back negative!! So now I will get an ultrasound every week until I deliver, non-stress tests twice a week, my regular Dr app every week and an appointment with the perinatologist every week. Busy, busy. I still think this pregnancy is going a little better than Macy's pregnancy, so hopefully we will make it to 37-38 weeks. We will see. Oh and on ultrasound today Jackson was measuring 4lbs 7oz. they said about 2 weeks small for his age, but not a big deal.

Macy has just started 2-year old tantrums, they are actually kinda funny, she just kinda rolls around on the floor with this horrible look on her face, she doesnt normally cry or scream, just rolls around. I sure hope this ends soon! He new thing is to call everyone a donkey, it all started with Grandpa Donkey (my dad), we arent sure why she calls him this, but that was how we could tell which grandpa she was talking about. At first it kinda offended my dad, he thought she was calling him a jack-ass, haha, so he taught her grandma donkey, macy donkey, mama donkey, daddy donkey and krystal donkey. So we are the donkey family now according to Macy. She is obsessed with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and she wants to watch it every morning, she calls it either "hot dog" because of the hot dog song or she calls it mickey mouse clubhouse. She is talking so well, we are so proud of her!!

Life is busy, Bob just started his masters program in social work, its only one year but I will have a newborn baby and a 2 year old, while we both work full-time and he is in grad school full time. YIKES!! I'm a little scared. When I had Macy he was able to take 5 weeks off of work to be home with me, now with Jackson he will only have a couple days off with us when Jackson comes home. Not sure how I will do it but I guess we will survive! I luckily haven't had to go on bedrest so I will get more time off with Jackson than I did with Macy.
Anyways life is good, I am just patiently (not so much) waiting for Jackson to come, makes me a little nervous to think about how exactly this is going to take place, but hopefully I get an epidural before I get to 9cm like last time!!!

29 weeks!!!
I'm 29 weeks now and doing pretty good. I have been taking the progesterone shot once a week and I really don't think it makes much of a difference :( I seem to have contractions just like I did with Macy. I started Nifedipine this last week and it helps for about 2 hours, but gives me a horrible headache. The contractions aren't really painful they are just super annoying. Last time the Dr checked me I was still pretty much closed so that is good. He said I could get betamethasone for the baby's lung development any time. I started doing NSTs 2 times a week and so far they have been good!! I think we will make it to 36 weeks!! Time will tell. I see perinatology every 2 weeks to check cervix length, so they are watching me closely.
We finally put Macy in her toddler bed last night and she did great!!! She slept all night and didn't fuss at all, what a big girl!! Her nap today was way to easy, she just asked to go to bed, so I took her in and she climbed in bed and I covered her up, checked on her about 10 min later and she was asleep in her bed. It was awesome!! Tonight was a piece of cake, she fell asleep before we even put her in bed so it was easy. We will see how this goes, but really Macy is such an easy kid, I'm kinda nervous that Jackson will be wild and fussy, I sure hope not!!
