14 weeks pregnant

This pic was done at 12 weeks!
Things are getting better with the pregnancy, on my first visit to see the perinatologist when i was about 9 weeks pregnant they saw that the placenta was pulling away from the uterus and there was an "extensive" hemorrhage, they said this puts me at risk for miscarriage before 20 weeks, abruption or preterm rupture of membranes. Great news :( I was so disappointed cause I had hoped that this pregnancy would be less complicated than the previous pregnancy and it was already "high-risk". But as I talked with my dr more about this diagnosis (subchorionic hemorrhage) he said that there is a chance that it will heal completely and I can have a normal pregnancy, I am still at risk for those things mentioned but that doesn't mean that any of them will happen. YAY! So from there I saw my Dr every 2 weeks and then perinatology again and it looks like it the detachment is healing and the baby is growing well, so they dont think it effected the function of the placenta. So I am hopeful that this pregnancy will be uneventful!! How in the world would I do bedrest with Macy around?!? NOT POSSIBLE! OH, I forgot to mention, the perinatologist and my Dr wanted me to take progesterone shots every week from 14 weeks to 36 weeks, it is supposed to reduce preterm labor by about 50%! I started that this week, actually got my first shot today, it wasnt too bad. It will be busy trying to go to the Dr every week for my shot, because transport is changing a little bit and I will be on call for transport at least 2 times a week on top of my three 12 hour shifts, but I can only do flight until I get to 28 weeks. But at that point the Dr already said I will start non-stress tests 2 times a week till I deliver. Looks like I am going to be busy busy busy. But as long as the baby is doing well, it is all worth it.
Macy is so big now and talking so much, only some people can understand what the heck she is saying but it is so cute, I can totally understand her words. She doesnt really use sentences, she will say "I want ..." or "the ..." but not a lot of other sentences. I was writing down all the words she can say because the Dr always ask how many words they can say, and i was surprised that macy can say 32 words!!! I only counted words that she doesnt call anything else except the correct name for the specific object. Like I didn't put dad on the list, cause she calls a lot of people dad. But like "cup" and "baby" she only calls a cup a cup and a baby a baby. make sense? Anyway she just turned 17 months yesterday and she seems so big already!! We really need to work on weaning off the bottle and then going to a toddler bed before the new baby comes.

Anyways, I am amazed at how fast I had to go to maternity pants. Geez I was barely 12 weeks and my normal pants were just too tight, and I am 2 lbs lighter than I was before I was pregnant so its not that I am just too fat, I think :)
